After 11 weeks of an intense curve battle between gorgeous, confident and charismatic girls, Star In A Bra 2013 competition came to an end earlier this month. And Lotte Williams, a fashion student from Colchester, was named as the winner of the contest held by fuller figured lingerie firm Curvy Kate. “Lotte is a fantastic ambassador for the brand and helps us prove just how good the curvy figure looks in lingerie,” spokeswoman of the UK-based lingerie company Hannah Houston said. “Lotte shone in front of the camera and was so at ease in her lingerie and flaunting her curves. We know she'll thoroughly enjoy her year in the spotlight just as much as we will working with her." As the winner of Star In A Bra, Miss Williams received a yearlong modeling contract with the label and said she's been given the chance to represent all beautiful, healthy, curvy girls out there. “As part of my course I've been around these size-zero women at London Fashion Week on numerous occasions and I've never thought they really represent real women,” the 22-year-old beauty said. “I thought fuller-figured women such as myself represent the norm much more than the women that grace the catwalks.” Lotte Williams, who wears a 30GG bra, will now grace the pages of Cosmopolitan magazine and the catwalks of Paris working as the new face of Curvy Kate.
Lotte Williams beat out 700 other hopeful to win Star in a Bra contest 2013 held by Curvy Kate, which specializes in D-K cup garments.
Lotte Williams worked part-time in a lingerie shop in her hometown and attended London College of Fashion, where she regularly undertook assignments working in PR, journalism and event management as part of her studies.
The size 12 redhead revealed that she never thought the stick-thin models that are so prominent in the industry represented real women.
Miss Williams said she was always proud to be different to the other girls and comfortable in her own skin.
Lotte Williams is now the new face and body of Curvy Kate, which launched in September 2009 and aims to give shapely women flattering and fabulous bras and panties.
