Fashion blogger Gabi Gregg, long well-known in the fat-acceptance and plus-size fashion blogospheres, has collaborated with swimwear site swimsuitsforall on a funky, fresh line for the plus-size community. “I think swimsuit shopping can be horrendous if you're going to stores that don't offer your size, but finding a stylish option that fits you well can actually make you feel great!, the 25-year-old writer said. “It can be tough to find on-trend bathing suits in plus sizes, and I hope this collection helps.” Miss Gregg, who is a U.S. size 18, produced a five-piece capsule collection for U.S. sizes 10 to 24 in collaboration with the retailer. It includes stylish maillot bathing suits, bikinis, and cover-ups in bright prints and loud neon hues. The neon and jewel-print suits looks cute, but the real prize of the collection is obviously the galaxy bikini, which sold out within hours as soon as it became available. While all that press attention was great for Gabi Gregg, it might have been too much for swimsuitsforall. The company couldn’t handle the demand and revealed that they would not be making any more swimsuits because of production issues. Miss Gregg apologized later on her blog to those who never got their bikinis, saying that swimsuitsforall couldn’t fulfill the orders and would not be restocking the galaxy print fatkini.

While the galaxy print bikini sold out within hours as soon as it became available, three other swimsuit styles the popular blogger designed were still available in limited sizes.
